You know, when I look at someone I admire, like Colin Powell, when he walks onto a stage, even before he speaks, he has total command of the room.
And I think what I've done recently, is to try to understand it scientifically, and more importantly, to figure out how can we do better with this, right?
So the lesson I learned is that to be original you don't have to be first.
But it also seems to me that if we have the opportunity to teach mindsets and really cultivate certain mindsets, that the world will be a much better place.
And because so much is hidden from our conscious awareness, we end up inventing answers that feel true but are often very wrong.
I remember the great actress, Helen Mirren, saying, "One of the most difficult things to learn as an actress is how to walk onto a scene." I've thought about that even in my career, how early on, the difficulty of mastering that.
